INBETWEEN WORLDS was secretly filmed, first-time for a fictional feature film, on original locations in Afghanistan in the region of Masar-e Sharif and Kunduz, as well as in Lower Saxony and North Rhine Westphalia. After her first feature WHEN WE LEAVE, Feo Aladag, winner of the German Film Award 2010, focuses on the controversially discussed topic of the hot spot at the Hindu Kush. Ronald Zehrfeld and Mohsin Ahmady play the main roles.
